Field sales app with route planning, free to start

What a field sales app has to do
Search for “field sales app” and you find two sorts: large company software with team administration, quoting and a monthly fee per user, and route planners that navigate from A to B but do not know who your customers are.
For one person with their own territory, something is missing in between: an app that knows the customer list, says who is due, and plans the week with real drive times. No account, no cloud, no sales manager's dashboard. That is trakki.
What trakki does
- Import the customer list. From Excel, with addresses that trakki turns into points on the map. For Austria with the official address register, which knows every house number.
- Due dates on the map. Every customer has a call cycle. Red is overdue, amber is soon, green is done. The map is the heart of the app.
- The week in ten minutes. Group the customers who are due by area, and trakki works out the drive times for every call of the day, with opening hours and a break. One visit falls through, the rest recalculates.
- Route planning and navigation in one. trakki sets the order; the navigation to the next customer it hands over to the sat nav of your choice.
- Log your calls. Per customer, every visit and every phone call with a date and a note. A look into the customer file before the next appointment.
- Reports as Excel. For your manager, for accounting, or for handing over a territory, in the detail you decide.
- Overnight trips. For large territories, multi-day tours built around the hotel.
- On all your devices. Phone and computer sync through your own storage — Google Drive, OneDrive or the NAS at home — or with no cloud at all over your own Wi-Fi.
Free to start, and genuinely so
Try the whole app, with sample data or with your own, with no time limit. No account, no credit card, no email address. Anyone who plans with it pays €9.99 a month or €99 a year, billed through the App Store or Google Play, cancellable at any time. Anyone who stops takes their data with them. All the details in the Pricing section.
Who trakki is built for
For field sales reps and sales people with their own territory, area sales managers and regional sales managers who plan their own week, pharmaceutical reps, manufacturers' reps, medical device sales and field service technicians with a maintenance cycle. How the week differs from sector to sector is under Who it is for.
What trakki is not built for: teams with central dispatching, parcel rounds, and being a second CRM. There is no team view and no manager access, and that is deliberate.
Your data stays your data
There is no server of ours holding your customer list, and therefore none that can be hacked, sold or switched off. Everything is on your device. For pharmaceutical reps and self-employed manufacturers' reps that is not a footnote but the condition under which they are allowed to use a tool of their own. More on that under Your customers stay your customers.
Where trakki stands
The apps for iPhone and Android are in preparation, the version for Mac and Windows comes after. If you want to hear as soon as it is ready, sign up on the home page. One message at launch, nothing else.
Frequently asked questions
Is trakki a route planner or a week planner?
Both, in the order you need them: first the week planner, which turns the customers who are due into a week, then the route per day with real drive times, and for the single drive the handover to the sat nav.
Do I need an account?
No. Install and start. No sign-up, no email address, no password.
What makes trakki different from field sales software for companies?
Company software administers teams and belongs to the company; the data sits with the vendor. trakki belongs to you, runs without a server and plans your week. Anyone who needs both takes trakki for the week and passes the calls on to the company system as Excel.
Can I keep working with Excel?
Yes. There is a free Excel template for route planning in the guides; trakki reads exactly that sheet when the template is no longer enough.
